Starry Nights Luxury Camping

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

These Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings at Starry Nights Luxury Camping. By making a booking and paying the required deposit, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.


1. Definitions

Booking means the period for which you have reserved accommodation at the Property.

Property means Starry Nights Luxury Camping, including all land, structures, fixtures, fittings, and equipment.

Management means Starry Stays Pty Ltd, including the owners and operators of the Property.


2. Acceptance of Terms

Payment of the required deposit constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.

To the extent permitted by Australian Consumer Law, Management accepts no liability for any injury, loss, damage, illness, or death arising directly or indirectly from your stay at the Property.


3. Check-In & Check-Out

Check-in is available from 2:00 PM.

Check-out is by 10:00 AM.

Late check-out may be available upon request, subject to availability, and may incur additional charges.


4. Access & Property Conditions

Guests must park in the designated car park and must not drive to tents or into paddocks.

Access to the Property may be impacted by weather conditions, including flooding or other extreme events. In such cases, Management reserves the right to cancel or postpone bookings at short notice.

Where possible, guests will be offered one of the following:

  • a full refund;
  • alternative dates;
  • a refund for any unused nights.

Management is not liable for any additional costs incurred as a result of cancellation, postponement, or restricted access caused by such events.

Force Majeure: Management is not liable for any delay or failure to perform its obligations where such delay or failure is caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to fire, flood, storm, natural disaster, or other emergencies.


5. Payments

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking.

Bookings are not confirmed until the required deposit has been received.

The remaining balance will be automatically charged to the credit card provided at the time of booking 14 days prior to arrival.

For bookings made within 14 days of arrival, full payment is required at the time of booking.

Failure to make payment within the required timeframes may result in cancellation without notice.

Discounted rates, promotional offers, and special packages require full prepayment and are non-refundable and non-transferable unless otherwise required by law.


6. Cancellations & Changes

If you wish to cancel or amend your booking, please contact Management as soon as possible.

All deposits are non-refundable.

Cancellations made within 14 days of arrival are non-refundable in full.

Changes to bookings are subject to Management approval and may be treated as a cancellation.

Any reduction in the number of nights booked may be treated as a cancellation for those nights.

A minimum stay of 2 nights applies.


7. Damages & Additional Charges

Guests are responsible for any damage, loss, breakage, or additional cleaning required as a result of their stay.

Any such costs may be charged to the credit card provided at the time of booking.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • property damage;
  • breakages;
  • excess cleaning;
  • undeclared guests;
  • additional repairs or call-out costs caused by guest actions.

8. Property Availability

If the Property becomes unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances, including fire, storm, damage, or other emergency events, Management will notify you as soon as possible.

Management may, at its discretion, offer suitable alternative accommodation or provide a full refund of monies paid.

Due to uneven and steep terrain, the Property is not suitable for wheelchair access.


9. Behaviour, Parties & Functions

No parties, gatherings, events, or functions are permitted on the Property.

Guests must behave responsibly and with consideration for neighbours, staff, livestock, and other guests.

Any breach of this clause may result in immediate eviction without refund, and additional charges may apply for cleaning, rubbish removal, repairs, security attendance, or other related costs.


10. Linen & Amenities

Linen, pillows, blankets, towels, and bathrobes are provided for guest use.

Bathrobes are supplied for adults only and must be left in the bedroom or bathroom on departure.


11. Pets

Pets are not permitted at the Property.

If animals or pets are brought onto the Property without prior written approval, Management may terminate the booking immediately and charge for cleaning, fumigation, and any damage caused, including damage to the Property or surrounding livestock areas.


12. Prohibited Activities

No motorsports or recreational vehicle use is permitted on the Property.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • motorbikes;
  • dirt bikes;
  • ATVs;
  • electric bikes;
  • electric scooters.

No hunting is permitted on the Property at any time.

Any breach may result in immediate eviction without refund and liability for any resulting loss, damage, or disturbance caused.


13. Children

Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising children at all times while on the Property.

A maximum of 3 children per tent is permitted.

Children must be supervised at all times and must respect the privacy, safety, and enjoyment of other guests.


14. Guest Responsibilities

Guests must comply with all reasonable instructions from Management concerning occupancy, safety, health, quiet enjoyment, and use of the Property.

Only guests named in the booking may stay at the Property. Unauthorised guests may result in additional charges or termination of the booking without refund.

Disturbance to neighbours or other guests, including excessive noise, is prohibited and may result in eviction without refund.

Before departure, guests must:

  • remove all food from fridges;
  • place rubbish in the appropriate bins provided;
  • wash and pack away crockery and cutlery;
  • leave the Property in a clean and tidy condition;
  • clean the BBQ thoroughly if used, or a $50 cleaning fee may apply;
  • return furniture and furnishings to their original positions;
  • vacate the Property on time and secure all doors and windows.

Smoking is not permitted inside the tents, in the guest lounge area, or within 5 metres of any building.

Cars must be parked only in designated parking areas and not on grassed areas or tent sites.

Fire supplies for indoor fires are only provided from April to October.


15. Complaints

Any issue or complaint must be reported to Management as soon as possible during your stay so that Management has the opportunity to resolve it promptly.

You must allow reasonable access for repairs, maintenance, or service where required.

Any complaint that cannot be resolved during the stay must be submitted in writing before departure.

Failure to follow this process may limit or prevent any claim.

Guests are strongly encouraged to obtain travel insurance.


16. Third-Party Experiences

Management accepts no liability for third-party services, activities, tours, experiences, or products booked through or recommended by Starry Nights Luxury Camping.


17. Add-Ons & Services

Management reserves the right to cancel any add-ons, food services, or other optional items booked through the Property.

If this occurs, guests will be refunded for the cancelled item or service only.


18. Maximum Occupancy

The maximum number of guests permitted across the Property is 10 people, including no more than 8 adults.
